This image represents the Spirit of Hope rising anew flowerlike from a mound of leaves. The mound is made of sections of restored and collaged domestic Art Nouveau panels.

War Boy

This panel depicts contemplation in a time of chaos. The boy looks towards his future whilst behind him his cultural past beckons. Based on images of my father in 1951 and the Singer Sewing Machine factory in Clydebank. The factory was converted to make munitions during WW11 and was subsequently bombed in The Blitz.
